What You’ll Do:

As a DeFi Analyst, you will be the subject matter expert for our DeFi and Market Making business. Your primary responsibilities will include investigating various DeFi protocols, working on strategic partnerships alongside the Business Development team, and conducting advisory and research activities. You will also help produce research articles for both internal and external consumption and actively engage in community forums and governance discussions. The DeFi analyst will work closely with our Trading team and Business Development team to identify interesting opportunities and projects to engage in.

Job responsibilities might include:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of DeFi protocols to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Explore, research and analyse defi staking, farming, trading opportunities.
• Evaluate and help monitor risks of current DeFi activities in the company.
• Explore opportunities to work with projects that align with our strategic goals.
• Provide advisory support to the team on emerging trends and technologies in the DeFi space.
• Perform on-chain analysis to see behaviours of other participants.
• Collaborate with the marketing team and trading team to create insightful research articles and content.
• Engage in community forums and participate in governance discussions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DeFi to inform decision-making.

Position Requirements:

• Proven experience in DeFi, blockchain technology, or cryptocurrency markets.
• A passion for decentralized finance and a strong understanding of its protocols.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
