About Chainlink
Chainlink is the industry-standard oracle platform bringing the capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance (DeFi). The Chainlink stack provides the essential data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy standards needed to power advanced blockchain use cases for institutional tokenized assets, lending, payments, stablecoins, and more. Since inventing decentralized oracle networks, Chainlink has enabled tens of trillions in transaction value and now secures the vast majority of DeFi.

Many of the world’s largest financial services institutions have also adopted Chainlink’s standards and infrastructure, including Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, S&P Dow Jones Indices, FTSE Russell, WisdomTree, ANZ, and top protocols such as Aave, Lido, GMX and many others. Chainlink leverages a novel fee model where offchain and onchain revenue from enterprise adoption is converted to LINK tokens and stored in a strategic Chainlink Reserve. Learn more at chain.link.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our People technology landscape and directly influence how data and automation empower people decisions in a fast-growing organization

Your Impact

  • Collaborate with People and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable system configurations and reporting solutions

  • Enhance system functionality to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience

  • Develop and maintain analytics tools to provide actionable people insights that support strategic decision-making.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across People Technology systems

  • Partner with the analytics team to translate data into meaningful reports and dashboards

  • Lead cross-system data governance initiatives to maintain consistency and compliance

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize disruption

  • Drive continuous improvement of the People Technology ecosystem to support organizational growth and evolving business needs

  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in People systems and analytics

  • Promote best practices in configuration, documentation, testing, and system design to ensure long-term stability and reliability across the People Technology ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS or People Systems roles, with hands-on configuration and administration responsibilities.

  • 3+ years of experience with Workday system administration and support at scale, including deep expertise in HCM, Advanced Compensation, and Absence.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Workday reporting (custom reports, calculated fields, RaaS) and comfort working with analytics teams to deliver insights.

  • Strong understanding of HR business processes, the employee lifecycle, and cross-system data flows.

  • Experience performing EIBs, regression testing, configuration impact analysis, and release management.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous requirements into scalable configuration solutions.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and build productive relationships with stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, operate independently, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

  • Comfort handling sensitive data, supporting compliance needs, and adhering to data governance best practices.

How do I get a job at DeFi?

Getting a job in the DeFi (decentralized finance) industry can be a competitive process, but there are a few steps you can take to increase your chances of finding a job in this field:

  1. Build up your skills and knowledge: To work in DeFi, you'll likely need to have a strong understanding of blockchain technology, as well as other related technologies such as smart contracts and cryptocurrency. Consider taking online courses or earning a degree in a relevant field to build up your skills and knowledge.
  2. Network with industry professionals: Attend meetups and conferences related to DeFi and make connections with professionals in the industry. Networking can be a valuable way to learn about job openings and get your foot in the door at a DeFi company.
  3. Create a strong online presence: Many DeFi companies will look at your online presence (such as your LinkedIn profile and personal website) when considering you for a job. Make sure to showcase your skills and accomplishments online and keep your profile up to date.
  4. Apply for relevant job openings: Keep an eye out for job openings at DeFi companies and apply for positions that align with your skills and experience. Apply for DeFi Jobs without Experience. Tailor your resume and cover letter to the specific job you're applying for and highlight any relevant experience or skills you have.
  5. Consider internships or volunteer work: DeFi Internships or volunteer work can be a great way to get your foot in the door and gain valuable experience in the DeFi industry. Many companies also offer internships to students, so consider applying for an internship if you're still in school.
  6. Be persistent: keep trying if you don't get a job right away. It can take time to find the right opportunity, but with the right skills and determination, you can land a job in the DeFi industry.
