Role Overview We seek a highly connected, charismatic leader to drive our referral, affiliate, and key opinion leader (KOL) initiatives. Your primary focus: build and scale a global network of partners who will champion Figure Markets and bring in new users from every corner of Web3 and beyond. You’ll leverage your deep rolodex of Web3 KOLs—across platforms like Twitter, YouTube, and Telegram—to sign new brand ambassadors, launch referral programs, and collaborate with affiliates. As we expand internationally, you’ll also set up commission-based referral teams worldwide. Key Responsibilities

KOL Acquisition & Management

Identify and onboard key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the Web3, crypto, and finance spaces. Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with influencers, ensuring they understand and authentically promote Figure Markets’ value propositions. Negotiate partnerships, compensation, and performance metrics aligned with brand objectives.

Referral & Affiliate Program Strategy

Design and roll out referral campaigns leveraging unique codes, links, or promotional assets. Collaborate with product and marketing teams to track, optimize, and report on user acquisition, conversions, and ROI from referral-based channels. Expand affiliate partnerships by onboarding new affiliate networks or communities.

Global Expansion & Team Building

Plan and implement scalable strategies to recruit local KOL managers in new markets, working on a commission-only model. Oversee training, performance monitoring, and strategic alignment of these remote or in-country teams. Ensure regional cultural nuances are respected while maintaining global brand standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, product, and growth teams to coordinate influencer campaigns, product launches, and brand events. Align with legal and compliance on KOL guidelines and disclosures.

Performance Tracking & Optimization

Utilize analytics platforms to measure traffic, conversions, and engagement attributed to each KOL, affiliate, or referral channel. Optimize partner performance through ongoing communication, incentives, and data-driven feedback loops.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Extensive Web3 Network: Demonstrated track record of influencer/KOL relationships in crypto, DeFi, or blockchain (Twitter, YouTube, Telegram, TikTok, etc.). Results-Driven: Background in affiliate or referral marketing with proven user acquisition success. Experience negotiating commission structures and monitoring partner performance is a plus. Strong Communicator: Able to clearly articulate Figure Markets’ unique value prop to influencers and affiliates, forging long-term alliances. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable building new teams across the globe, finding creative ways to scale outreach, and thriving in a fast-paced startup environment. Analytical & Organized: Skilled at setting KPIs, analyzing user acquisition funnels, and strategizing optimizations based on data. Collaboration: Works seamlessly across marketing, product, and operations, ensuring consistent brand messaging. Personable & Persuasive: Adept at pitching to and engaging with different personality types, from crypto degens to institutional finance influencers.

Qualifications

3+ years in influencer marketing, affiliate management, or referral-based growth, ideally within a Web3 or fintech startup. Demonstrable list of proven influencer/KOL partnerships. Experience launching and scaling referral or affiliate programs (software or SaaS experience helpful). Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adjust, or similar). Bonus: Understanding of regulatory nuances for affiliate marketing and KOL disclosure in different regions.
