Veda is at the forefront of innovation, pioneering an Actively Validated Service (AVS) to be the first Native Yield Layer in the DeFi stack. Native Yield is all about embedding yield directly into user experiences. Whether it's by default, like earning on capital in an L2 bridge, or through easy opt-in products, the goal is clear: minimize opportunity costs and simplify user adoption for protocols and ecosystems. At only four months old, our protocol has already amassed over $1B in TVL and forged partnerships with blue-chip DeFi protocols like ether.fi.
Our team comprises adept DeFi builders driven by a passion for enhancing DeFi UX and broadening accessibility. Although fully remote, we prefer candidates aligned with Western timezones.
We seek individuals with high agency to join us in defining the emerging Native Yield category. The ideal candidate takes ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and adapts swiftly to evolving demands.
Working closely with our founding team, the individual will drive the development of high-performance API systems that share insights on Veda’s products with our protocol partners and strategist ecosystem. You will be responsible for creating intuitive, web and mobile-friendly front-end components that deliver a seamless and engaging user experience. Working closely with our infrastructure team, you will deploy and manage back-end services while remaining agile to support front-end development tasks when required. Responsibilities
- Drive the development of high-performance API systems to disseminate insights on Veda’s products within our protocol partners and strategist ecosystem
- Collaborate across teams to gather and refine requirements effectively for API system development
- Develop intuitive front-end components that are both web and mobile-friendly, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience
- Deploy and manage back-end services in collaboration with our infrastructure team, while remaining adaptable to assist with front-end development tasks as necessary
- Contribute throughout the development lifecycle, seamlessly transitioning between back-end and front-end tasks based on project requirements to enhance DeFi accessibility in user-centric applications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline AND 3+ years of experience in software development; OR 5+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of degree
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Programming experience in Python or similar object-oriented language (C++, Rust, etc)
- Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts
- Designed, developed, debugged, and deployed software that has been used in real-world applications
- Comfortable designing, deploying, maintaining, and debugging cloud applications in AWS, GCP, Azure, or a similar cloud environment
- Familiarity with dockerFront-end experience in React, Angular, or similar JavaScript framework
- Comfortable with the end to end life cycle of REST APIsDatabase experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies
- Experience writing, maintaining, and upgrading unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency a plus (however not a prerequisite)
$100,000 - $250,000 a year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
