About the role:

We are looking for a pioneer and results-oriented Web3 Product Strategy & Growth Lead to join our growing team at WeatherXM. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development of our Web3 products and initiatives, helping us explore new opportunities within the decentralized ecosystem. You will work closely with the CEO to lead market exploration, build relationships within the Web3 community, and develop strategies for product creation and growth. Responsibilities:

• Lead the exploration and development of Web3 products, identifying potential market opportunities and business models within the decentralized space.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO to shape the strategic direction of WeatherXM’s Web3 initiatives, offering insights into market trends, product opportunities, and growth strategies.
• Develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for Web3 product offerings, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with the company's vision.
• Build relationships with key Web3 stakeholders, including developers, platforms, communities, and potential partners to identify collaboration and business development opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to keep WeatherXM at the cutting edge of Web3 innovation.
• Drive community engagement and adoption strategies, ensuring WeatherXM becomes a recognized leader in decentralized weather networks.
• Experiment with creative marketing and growth tactics to drive user adoption, including partnerships, tokenomics, and community-led growth.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory and technological developments in the Web3 space, ensuring WeatherXM is aligned with best practices and compliant with industry standards.

• Proven experience in Web3, blockchain, or decentralized technology markets, ideally with a focus on business development, product creation, or growth.
• A strong understanding of decentralized technologies, including blockchain, smart contracts, and tokenomics.
• Ability to think strategically while also executing initiatives, balancing big-picture goals with hands-on action.
• Demonstrated success in developing and launching new products or initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Must be data-savvy, with the ability to collect, analyze, and clearly communicate insights to the team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, propose new ideas, and lead initiatives without rigid frameworks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
• Comfortable working in a startup environment, with a passion for decentralized technology and innovation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple initiatives at once.
• Experience with community engagement, Web3 marketing tactics, and growth hacking is a plus.
• Must have deep engagement with the crypto ecosystem, including a solid understanding of Crypto Twitter, key trends, thought leaders, and user behaviors. This comes from either being an active user of crypto products (e.g., trading altcoins, regularly using dApps, staying up-to-date with developments) or having substantial experience working in the crypto industry.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working closely with C-level executives or founders in high-growth startups.
• Prior experience in weather-related, climate tech, or IoT industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of tokenomics, decentralized finance (DeFi), and NFT ecosystems is highly desirable.
