About the opportunity:

We are looking for a Software QA Managerwho can join us along this mission and vision. You’ll become an integral part of the QA team, which is in charge of testing and refining our products to ensure unrivalled quality. Interested? Keep on reading!

What you’ll be working on:

• Lead and manage the QA team, comprising both manual and automated testers, ensuring effective collaboration and consistent delivery of high-quality results.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and enhancement of testing strategies and processes to ensure the quality of the production system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze testing requirements, plan testing activities, and develop comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Take ownership of the overall QA process, from requirements review and test case design to quality assurance, function launches, and issue tracking.
• Provide guidance on both manual and automated testing processes, driving best practices in areas like API testing, performance testing, and regression testing.
• Mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and innovation in testing methodologies.
• Utilize project management tools to track testing progress, document results, manage issues, and report testing outcomes effectively.
• Continuously evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing efforts.

About you:

• Proven experience in leading QA teams, managing both manual and automated testing efforts.
• Strong background in testing financial or trading systems, including knowledge of FIX protocol, order processing, and derivatives trading.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated QA methodologies, with hands-on experience in developing and executing test plans.
• Solid knowledge of testing mobile apps, web development, and API testing, along with performance and regression testing.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Testlink, and database systems like MySQL.
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand not only the ‘what’ but also the ‘why’ behind issues.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills, with the ability to set project expectations and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for innovation and improvement, with a proactive mindset towards identifying and resolving issues.
