LayerZero The Future is Omnichain. Founded in 2021, LayerZero’s vision is to create a community of cross-chain developers, building dApps that are no longer constrained by individual blockchain capabilities. With LayerZero's simple, generic messaging protocol, builders will develop cross-chain dApps designed to unify the power of individual blockchains. We are funded by the best investors in the world including: a16z, Sequoia, PayPal, Binance Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Uniswap Labs, Circle Ventures, Delphi Digital, and many more.   ABOUT THE ROLE LayerZero is transforming how blockchain ecosystems connect, making decentralized technology more accessible, scalable, seamless and truly omnichain. Design is at the heart of our vision, and we’re looking for a Brand Designer to join our team and help create experiences that are as beautiful as they are functional. As a Brand Designer on the LayerZero team, you’ll work across products, apps, and campaigns, making sure everything we create looks and feels incredible. You’ll play a big part in shaping our design system, creating UI libraries, and bringing our launches to life with eye-catching visuals. This role is a mix of hands-on design work and close collaboration with Product and Brand Designers to make sure we’re delivering a consistent, cohesive experience everywhere.   WHAT YOU'LL DO

Crafting the Brand: Building and maintaining UI libraries for our products, apps, and website to ensure a polished and unified look Collaborating with the Team: Working closely with Product Designers and Brand Designers on projects that range from feature designs to social media to events to full larger scale campaigns. Expanding the Brand: Furthering our efforts with our design system, creating more scalable and consistent assets that work across all touchpoints. Communicating the Vision: Designing assets for product launches and announcements, from graphics to visuals for campaigns.

  ABOUT YOU

A portfolio that shows off your talent for creating clean, effective, and impactful visuals. Experience working with design systems or building UI libraries. Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design platforms you love. A strong eye for detail and the ability to translate ideas into designs that resonate. Someone who thrives on collaboration and is comfortable working across teams.

Bonus Points

Familiarity with the blockchain, crypto, or Web3 space (but if you’re excited to learn, we’re excited to teach) Experience with SaaS, dashboards, or developer tools. Motion graphics or animation skills—it’s not required, but it’s always a nice touch

What does a web3 designer do?

A web3 designer is responsible for creating user-friendly and visually appealing designs for websites that are built on the web3 platform

This platform is based on blockchain technology and allows for the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) that can be accessed through a web browser

A web3 designer would be responsible for creating the user interface and user experience for these dApps, ensuring that they are easy to use and navigate

They would also be responsible for ensuring that the overall design of the dApps is consistent with the brand and aesthetic of the organization or individual that is building the dApps.
