We are looking for DevOps engineers with experience in administering blockchain platforms for production systems.

We are rolling out a decentralized platform (https://www.verified.network) for payments, investments and financing. It is built on the Ethereum blockchain with a two layered architecture - layer 2 is a permissioned Ethereum network of regulated financial services providers that does most of the heavy duty transaction processing, and layer 1 is the public ethereum mainnet where transaction balances are rolled up from layer 2 and secured.

Given this architecture, we are looking for people with the following skills

1. Hands on set up of Quorum and Tessera with automated provisioning of nodes as network scales

2. Managing the blockchain explorer for the layer 2 network

3. Setting up monitoring systems for blockchain gateways and nodes

4. Setting up and managing CI/CD for smart contracts and applications on the platform

5. Setting up and managing backup / restore of data for smart contract upgrades

Our deployments are on the cloud, with both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure being used, hence hands on work with linux server admin, serverless apps, databases, logging, job queuing systems are a must have.

There are lot of opportunities to learn by doing on a fully working production system, and interactions with clients and coworkers around the world.

Compensation is based on experience/skills/abilities and the mindset that will be most useful is that of an individual contributor, big time problem solver, and someone who is passionate about blockchain technology.
