Job Responsibilities

Ever worked in a GitOps-driven, PCI compliant and deterministic production Kubernetes (EKS) environment? Very few have, but that is what we have here at PrimeTrust! We are deprecating all of our legacy code and infra, and green-fielding the replacement to run in AWS EKS leveraging top talent to design our operations environment that knows no equal. This team would be the care-takers of this new environment, which include:

• Production support
• On-call incident management
• Release management and automation
• Root cause analysis
• Data driven decision-making
• Cross functional engagement and communication to resolve production issues
• Teamwork
• KPI Reporting
• Automation & tool configuration/development
• Able to participate in the team on-call rotation

Experience and Requirements

Must Have:

• Comfortable in a lead/mentorship/delegation role for a team of very talented and motivated junior engineers
• 3+ years’ experience working with large-scale distributed systems and managing Linux-based systems in a cloud like AWS
• 2+ years’ experience working with AWS EKS or Kubernetes
• 1+ years’ experience with solutions such as Docker, system virtualization, cloud monitoring and logging
• 1+ years’ experience with IaC and config management tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, etc.

Nice To Have:

• 3+ years’ experience writing/reading/debugging Python code
• Experience writing Golang
• Experience with Grafana

Education -Bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
