Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test RareCircle’s blockchain and back end technologies
- Evaluate applications for new tools and technologies as they continually evolve
- Be involved in the global blockchain community and work on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals.
- Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones
- Mentor junior developers, promote best practices within the team and lead by example.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of experience with Solidity.
- Experience building backend web services that interact with the Ethereum blockchain.
- A strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and its associated design challenges, like gas optimization tradeoffs and security best practices.
- Experience writing scripts to automate monitoring and maintenance of overall network health
- Proficiency in Golang
- A collaborative spirit, and the ability to work effectively with a team
Background & Characteristics
The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in blockchain technology, best demonstrated through active involvement in the DeFi, NFT or web3 space. Your track record should demonstrate:
- An ability to think through customer requirements to come up with high-impact ways of quickly solving their problems.
- A high bar for the quality of code and quality of user experience
- Familiarity with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture.
- An extremely high attention to detail.
