Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test RareCircle’s blockchain and back end technologies
• Evaluate applications for new tools and technologies as they continually evolve
• Be involved in the global blockchain community and work on implementing and integrating the latest improvement proposals.
• Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones
• Mentor junior developers, promote best practices within the team and lead by example.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience with Solidity.
• Experience building backend web services that interact with the Ethereum blockchain.
• A strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and its associated design challenges, like gas optimization tradeoffs and security best practices.
• Experience writing scripts to automate monitoring and maintenance of overall network health
• Proficiency in Golang
• A collaborative spirit, and the ability to work effectively with a team

Background & Characteristics

The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in blockchain technology, best demonstrated through active involvement in the DeFi, NFT or web3 space. Your track record should demonstrate:

• An ability to think through customer requirements to come up with high-impact ways of quickly solving their problems.
• A high bar for the quality of code and quality of user experience
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in front-end architecture.
• An extremely high attention to detail.
