Who are you?

A technician, operational expert, Web3 enthusiast and ultimate team player who will create value in any situation. You understand how to plan out functional, experiential, and security requirements for front and back end systems that bring this new technology to the masses. You have a passion for making shit happen and a hunger to learn how to create meaningful Web3 programs that drive engagement and extend brand experiences.

You are a process ninja; with a knack for aligning people and processes. You're the task-maven who keeps projects moving forward using all of the skills at your disposal. You're a sponge who listens, is hungry for knowledge, and puts lessons into practice without hesitation.

The PITCH

A successful candidate will support the smooth running of our projects, working closely with technical vendors, developers, and the operations team to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our clients Web3 infrastructure and applications.

This position is a three-month temporary residency with the potential to build into full-time roles. The first cohort will begin in March, and will be a mix of remote and in-person, with required in-person days in New York or Miami.

You must be able to commit to a full-time work schedule, which is 40 hours per week during 9am-6pm ET, Monday through Friday.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Here's where you come in.

• Work with the operations team and technical vendors to manage Quality Assurance (QA) processes, including testing and documentation, to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Assist with the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of back-end systems, especially during Web3 program launches, to ensure APIs and databases are performing optimally
• Collaborate with front-end developers to implement and maintain client-side features
• Develop and independently maintain operational tools and processes (e.g., Asana task management) to help streamline our workflows
• Assist with identifying and mitigating security risks across our systems
• Research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the Web3 ecosystem, including NFT marketplaces, minting APIs, Web3 SaaS solutions, smart contract standards and innovations, novel protocols and essential Web3 mechanics like token gating and loyalty programs
• Provide technical consulting to the team as needed
  
  

The ideal candidate has:

• Solid knowledge of front-end development frameworks and languages, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with back-end systems, APIs and databases, such as Node.js, Express, and MongoDB
• Experience with QA management, including developing and executing test plans and documenting results,
• Understanding of security concepts and best practices for securing web applications
• Passion for the Web3 ecosystem and blockchain technologies, with a deep knowledge of NFT marketplaces, minting APIs, cryptocurrencies, metaverses, and all things digital collecting/trading
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  
  

Preferred candidates are:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Technology Commercialization, Enterprise Technology Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Blockchain, or a related field
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies
• Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure providers is a plus
• Deep knowledge of Discord and other Web3 social channels, spanning automation and authentication tools, server security measures, and product features
• Attention to Detail, Process Orientation, and Execution Focus.
