Junior/Mid Engineer â DevOps Security
Responsibilities
- Develop critical infrastructure using Terraform in both AWS and Azure environments.
- Configure, test, and deploy GitOps pipelines for Terraform infrastructure.
- Create and manage Helm Charts for security applications and maintain Kubernetes
- clusters.Provision and maintain Aurora RDS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), DynamoDB, and S3 Buckets.
- Develop automation scripts for daily operations using Shell, Python, and Ansible.
- Facilitate collaboration between the network and DevOps teams by either transforming or building network infrastructure in alignment with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps practices.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and continually identify potential improvements to the existing infrastructure and security solutions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of various security solutions, fulfilling both business and security requirements.
- Provide support outside of regular office hours as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience on Cloud or DevOps domains
- At a minimum, a diploma holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Possess practical experience in provisioning AWS and Azure infrastructures utilizing Terraform, with a strong preference for candidates with in-depth knowledge of Azure.
- Familiarity with IaC orchestration platforms (e.g., Terraform Cloud, Spacelift) and automation workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Kubernetes, containers and Linux environments.
- Proficiency with shell scripting and automation tools like Ansible.
- Experience with Python or other programming languages is beneficial.
- Prior experience with cloud network infrastructure on AWS and Azure will be favored.Basic proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other types of databases will be advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills, eagerness to learn, and capacity to work independently.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese is required.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position.
