• Lead daily exchange operations, including fiat and digital asset deposits/withdrawals, wallet operations, settlement, reconciliation, and transaction processing.
• Establish and improve operational procedures, controls, escalation mechanisms, and service standards.
• Identify and manage operational risks, incidents, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Technology and Product teams on platform stability, system changes, maintenance, and new product launches.
• Work with banks, custodians, wallet providers, liquidity providers, and other key partners.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of client balances, fiat, digital assets, and operational accounts.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk on regulatory reviews, audits, operational policies, SOPs, and control documentation.
• Build and lead the operations team, including team structure, KPIs, escalation protocols, and operational coverage.
• Provide management with regular reporting on operational performance, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives.

• 5+ years of experience in exchange operations, brokerage, banking, payments, securities, fintech, or regulated financial services.
• Strong preference for direct experience in a crypto / digital asset exchange.
• Strong knowledge of exchange operations, wallet and custody processes, reconciliation, settlement, and operational controls.
• Experience leading operational teams in a regulated or highly controlled environment.
• Strong understanding of operational risk, incident management, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to work closely with Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance, Security, and Product teams.
• Strong problem-solving, process design, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

Preferred Background

Experience from regulated crypto exchanges, securities or brokerage platforms, digital banks, electronic trading platforms, custody providers, or major global crypto exchanges would be highly relevant.

Role Overview

The role will focus on expanding institutional and corporate relationships, developing new business opportunities, and building partnerships across the digital asset ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the exchange’s client base and market presence.
• Identify and onboard institutional clients, corporates, trading firms, family offices, funds, and other professional investors.
• Build strategic partnerships with banks, liquidity providers, custodians, fintech companies, Web3 projects, and ecosystem partners.
• Manage the full business development cycle, from lead generation and relationship building to onboarding and ongoing account management.
• Work closely with Compliance, Operations, Product, and Legal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and regulatory alignment.
• Identify market trends, client needs, and new commercial opportunities to support product and business expansion.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, networking sessions, and relevant market initiatives.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and provide regular updates on business performance, partnerships, and market opportunities.

• 5+ years of experience in business development, institutional sales, partnerships, or account management within crypto, fintech, financial services, brokerage, or capital markets.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in a digital asset exchange or institutional crypto business.
• Existing network across institutional investors, trading firms, funds, family offices, or digital asset companies is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of developing and closing business opportunities.
• Good understanding of digital assets, crypto trading, institutional client needs, and market structure.
• Comfortable working within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
