About Somnia:

If you’re an tech enabled, data astute problem solver who wants to enhance our marketing team’s performance at the cutting edge of Web3 through your analytical capabilities, this is the role you’ve been waiting for.

SOMNIA is the Agentic L1 - a hyper-performance Blockchain operating at an order of magnitude faster than existing networks. We empower builders and traders to create real-time, autonomous, and fully decentralized products, powered by agents, that were previously impossible and cannot be built anywhere else. It’s where the future of Web3 protocols will be built, so we’re facilitating a new wave of on-chain applications from DEX to Prediction Protocols and much, much more.

Somnia was developed by Somnia Foundation backed by Improbable, a British tech Unicorn +++ that’s been at the forefront of building virtual worlds for over a decade. Somnia received initial funding from MSquared, which raised $150 million from a16z crypto, SoftBank, Mirana Ventures, CMT Digital, and SIG.

About the Role:

You’ll be a digital marketing native and ideally a Crypto native, too. You’ll speak Web3 to a credible level and be happy to move at pace with flexibility, enthusiasm and not a little joy about demystifying data within a supportive (but quite demanding) marketing team and wider organisation.

This is more than a data analyst role - it’s a mission to weaponize data for Somnia’s marketing team. You’ll plug directly into a global ecosystem of our own L1 Chain, KOLs, elite builders, and protocols, turning marketing channel and on-chain data into future-shaping strategy.

If this sounds like the kind of fun/ interesting/ difficult challenge you’ve been waiting for, please read on and get in touch.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Skill Set - Lead Marketing Analyst

  • On-Chain Data Analysis: Advanced SQL for querying L1 data and experience with indexers and subgraphs to track real-time protocol events.

  • Marketing Attribution: Expertise in GTM (Server-Side) and GA4 to bridge off-chain social/KOL clicks to on-chain conversion and deposit data.

  • Analytics & Visualization: Proficiency in the likes of Tableau, Power BI, Looker to build real-time "War Rooms" and performance dashboards for KOL venue owners.

  • AI & Social Intelligence: Skilled in Kaito (Smart Followers) and sentiment analysis with the ability to build Agentic AI tools to colllect, order and analyse data across multiple channels, protocols and geos.

  • Data Science & Forecasting: Python (Pandas/NumPy) or R for predictive modelling of slippage degradation, volume triggers, and efficiency.

1. Multi-Channel Performance Attribution

  • Holistic Tracking: Map the full user journey from ‘Social Impression’ (KOL/X) to ‘On-chain Action (prediction venue and DEX deposits and trades) and owned web properties like the Dapp/ Website/ Landing page.

  • KOL & Creator ROI: Analyse sprints to identify which KOLs drive the highest new user onboarding, retention and volume vs. vanity metric hype.

  • Content & Copy Analytics: Use A/B testing methodologies to create feedback loops so we can optimise copy and video content for our websites, content partners, socials and PR.

2. GTM & Partner Intelligence (KOLs, Builders, Traders, Institutions and Retail Customers )

  • Builder Funnel: Track the conversion rate of Builder tracks from SDK/API documentation views to live venue deployment and market volume.

  • BD Support: Create data-backed KOL shortlists for the BD team using tools like Kaito and on-chain history.

  • Event Impact: Measure the lead-generation efficacy of global events (e.g. ETH Cannes, KBW, Token2049) and their impact on venue acquisition.

4. Strategic Forecasting & Reporting

  • KPI Stewardship: Own the monthly and quarterly reporting for Total Live Venues, MAW (Monthly Active Wallets), Total Value Locked (TVL) and Cumulative Daily Active Volume (CDAV).

  • Competitive Benchmarking: Maintain a Competitor Matrix using data to highlight where our chain and protocol’s agentic AI provides a superior competitive edge.

Requirements

  • You make the complex useful - we’re looking for an inquisitive, excitable data owner - someone who likes uncovering secrets, opportunities and threats in the marketing numbers

  • Web3 Analytics: 4+ years of experience in data analytics, specifically within DeFi or L1/L2 ecosystems.

  • Marketing Ops Proficiency: Familiarity with Headless CMS websites, Google Analytics, SEO tracking, and social sentiment tools (eg Kaito).

  • Technical Breadth: Ability to query on-chain data (SQL) and translate complex Agentic AI settlement logs into digestible growth reports for the team.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of prediction market mechanics (CLOB vs. AMM), oracle disputes, and the current KOL/Alpha landscape on Crypto-X.

  • Agility: Comfortable pivoting strategies (from organic to "Fuel Injection" contingency funds) based on real-time PMF signals.
