About this Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for legal and business affairs at a dynamic gaming company in the midst of globalization.
Responsibilities:
- Advising our corporate development team on M&A, investments and strategic transactions.
- Handling a broad range of day-to-day needs for our gaming studios and global corporate operations.
- Serving as a strategic, shoulder-to-shoulder partner with key business and operational stakeholders.
- Collaborate and coordinate with outside counsel.
- Work across different disciplines, cultures, and time zones (primarily Pacific, Eastern and Europe).
Requirements:
- J.D. and practicing attorney with 4+ years experience in M&A or tech transactions at a global law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Experience managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and articulate business-oriented solutions in the midst of novelty, ambiguity and tight deadlines.
- Familiarity or interest in gaming, AR/VR, Web3, metaverse and the interactive entertainment industry in general.
