About the Role
Are you an experienced sponsorship activation manager or a creative strategist with a deep passion for global sports? Are you multi-talented, curious and comfortable challenging the status quo? As the Sponsorship Activation Lead, you will develop regional and local creative activation solutions to unlock the activation potential of the Crypto.com platform. You will explore the regional and business specific needs and opportunities and find potential solutions leveraging Crypto.com sponsorship portfolio.
The Sponsorship Activation Lead will be based in North America and will work in close collaboration with numerous internal stakeholders in the marketing team (brand, PR, NFT, product marketing, communities, etc.) to support the activation of Crypto.com’s sponsorship portfolio, including F1, UFC, AMF1 and others to be announced soon.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of activation solutions to support strategic priorities of the business leveraging Crypto.com sponsorship portfolio
- Work with the Director, Sponsorship in developing and executing an annual partnership management plans for multiple properties
- Manage sports related social media activity
- You will act as a subject matter expert of the sponsorship properties within Crypto.com portfolio in order develop creative activation ideas and promotional platforms rooted in authentic and credible concepts that result in highly engaged audiences
- Manage internal/external approval processes for the creation of new assets
- Managing sponsorship management agencies
- Strong passion to American Sports
- You have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years with proven work experience in sports marketing, ideally working for a creative agency, media network or a brand
- Good copywriting skills and proven ability to partner closely with a creative team
- Strong strategic capability to maximize the way assets are utilized, especially content; ability to link assets to overall brand and business strategy, ability to adapt to changing and emerging trends in the industry
- Strong Social Media skills
- Experience in international sponsorship management
- You challenge status quo and find creative approaches to solving problem
- You are a self-starter, a go-get-er, able to think strategically and creatively around the different sponsorship activation touchpoints, content, digital, NFTs, promotions, etc.
- Ability to work within a swiftly evolving and changeable environment
- Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
