Job Summary:

The Product Owner, focusing on user-facing Blockchain apps, will be a key player, working with the development team using an Agile development model. In this role, you will be in charge of designing and developing products and solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be responsible for representing the interests of the stakeholders ensuring the development team is always focused on the needs of our users. As a product owner, you will be the product advocate and need to possess an in-depth project leadership expertise.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of large, complex, and highly technical projects that include product design, front end and back end development
• Be the integration advocate for the business with an understanding of the system as it is today and a vision for where the system needs to go leveraging customer insights, technology trends, strategic objectives
• Ensure product acceptance and readiness at key phases of the delivery cycle
• Define customer and/or business facing outcomes and measures
• Engage directly and daily with delivery teams to develop, test and solve complex problems that drive the solution from initial concept to production
• Sprint execution including backlog refinement, iteration planning, user story elaboration, develop user story acceptance criteria, review and accept user stories and participate in team demo and retrospective
• Evaluate progress throughout iterations and provide real-time feedback to Agile delivery team
• Interface with executives and development across organizations
• Contribute subject matter expertise to effort estimation and project development
• Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the organization, by contributing to the knowledge base and blogs
• Research and analyze market, the consumers, and the roadmap for the product
• Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Owner, preferably in blockchain industry
• Experience with building and launching Blockchain products
• Ability to dig into code is an advantage
• Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
• Proven ability to provide vision, success criteria, and direction throughout the product lifecycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to be able communicate effectively with all the stakeholders (can be executives or cross organizations)
• Prioritize technical needs and non-functional needs alongside new feature development for the product, including monitoring, logging and capacity planning
• Ability to quickly break down high-level features into digestible work items that can be delivered in short iterations
