The Role

TaxBit is seeking a senior leader to head up Global Sales and Partnerships, as we continue to scale our tax and accounting solutions for the digital economy.

Reporting to the CEO, you will own TaxBit’s go-to-market strategy and execution. You will be responsible for catalyzing revenue growth by creating new business opportunities with Enterprise prospects and customers, as well as strategic partners. You will lead and grow a high-performing go-to-market team and will collaborate closely with other leaders across the business to accelerate TaxBit’s growth.

The perfect candidate has extensive experience leading sales and/or partnerships for highly technical and complex Enterprise SaaS products, ideally in a compliance field. She or he is a strong people leader and has a proven track record of performance against sales and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and develop key sales and revenue-generating functions, including Enterprise Sales, Partnerships, Business Development and Revenue Operations
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team, including Enterprise Account Executives, SDRs and Partner Ecosystem Managers
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that deliver predictable, repeatable and scalable sales results to propel TaxBit’s revenue growth
  • Meet and exceed company quarterly and annual sales goals, including ARR bookings, new logo acquisition, and sales pipeline
  • Lead sales campaigns and motions that build customer value and enable multi-year, multi-solution transactions
  • Accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments and consistently deliver against that forecast
  • Mentor and coach the team, supporting their individual goal attainment and professional development
  • Engage directly with customers as an executive sponsor, with a particular focus on accelerating or expanding the largest and/or most strategic deals for TaxBit
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, with a specific emphasis on growing that partner business and increasing high-quality lead flow
  • Ensure commitment from the partners for revenue goals, pipeline development and other areas of strategic focus
  • Demonstrate a commitment for customer success throughout the sales process and after-sales closure, in close partnership with Customer Success and Post-Sales
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy, focused primarily on opportunities to unlock revenue growth

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of sales and/or partnerships experience, preferably selling a technical SaaS, cloud-based product to large Enterprise companies
  • 5+ years sales leadership and people management experience
  • 5+ years domain expertise in tax, compliance, accounting or a related field
  • Experience selling to Enterprise customers in the Financial Services, FinTech, Crypto and/or Tech verticals
  • Track record of top performance and a history of carrying and exceeding team/region/ company sales quotas
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively hire, develop, and lead a high-performing GTM organization
  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements, craft solutions across multiple products, and sell across multiple business units across complex organizations
  • Strong presentation, white-boarding, and communication skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements
  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints
  • Strong interest in financial compliance technology and a deep understanding of the space
  • Comfortable in a high-volume, rapidly evolving and technically challenging environment

The base salary range for this role is $185,609 to $280,153. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation will vary depending on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to location, experience, level, and job qualifications.
