Product Manager, Risk
Responsibilities:
- Â Product Strategy & Vision: Define product vision and roadmap for risk detection, fraud prevention, KYC/KYB improvements, transaction monitoring, and real-time risk scoring systems. Evaluate emerging risks in crypto trading, payments, P2P, futures, and DeFi-related products.
- Execution & Delivery: Work cross-functionally with engineering, data, and operations to ship high-impact risk controls and infrastructure. Use data to identify gaps, design automated detection logic, and define key KPIs (e.g., false-positive rates, loss exposure, detection latency). Prioritize features based on risk severity, user impact, ROI, and operational feedback. Manage full product lifecycle from problem definition to launch, iteration, and optimization.
- Technical & Risk Expertise: Understand algorithms for anomaly detection, risk scoring, pattern recognition, identity verification, blockchain intelligence, and anti-fraud systems. Collaborate with data scientists to build and refine ML-based models.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Compliance, AML, Legal, Security, Customer Support, and Country Ops teams to ensure risk solutions meet global standards. Communicate product decisions clearly across diverse teams, including executives.
Requirements:
-  3–7+ years in Product Management in one or more of the following domains: Risk / Fraud / AML / Trust & Safety / Security or Fintech, payments, crypto, or trading platforms
- Strong technical aptitude; able to work with engineers and data teams on system design and logic.
- Proven ability to solve ambiguous, high-impact risk problems using data.
- Experience designing risk decision engines, case management systems, or fraud detection tools is a strong plus.
- Excellent communicator, able to translate complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
