Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Product Manager, Project Manager, or Business
- Analyst specifically working with payment APIs or similar products
- In-depth understanding of the merchant payment ecosystem and related technologies in Nigeria
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels
- Technical background or proficiency in working with engineering teams is highly desired. Familiarity with industry-leading payment providers is a plus
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
- 8+ years of proven experience specifically in fintech, banking, or mobile money
- Strong understanding of the payment landscape across Africa
- Excellent skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of various types of payment platforms / infrastructures (cards, mobile money, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Nigerian and African payment methods, trends, challenges
- Strong business acumen as well as analytical and problem-solving skills; expertise in strategy, Product development / management and planning
- Payment Method Providers Integration, Liaison, and project management.
- Ability to work with ambiguity; manage complex projects; flexibility to handle rapidly changing scenarios.
