Role Overview
Nexus is seeking a passionate Senior Executive Recruiter with extensive experience in hiring Engineering, Product, and Research leaders for early-stage, fast-growing startups and well-known companies.
You will own the end-to-end hiring process for senior executive roles across Engineering, Product, and Research organizations. You will partner closely with leaders across the company to ensure an exceptional candidate experience and an effective interview process. As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will promote Nexus's brand and culture while striving to attract exceptional talent across all roles and functions.
Responsibilities
Play a pivotal role in our growing Talent Acquisition team, enhancing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence.
Manage the full executive recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing and engaging exceptional leadership talent, driving offer negotiations, and facilitating seamless onboarding for Engineering, Product, and Research leadership roles.
Build strategic advisory relationships with the Nexus leadership team to align hiring efforts with business goals.
Develop and implement a comprehensive executive talent acquisition strategy utilizing diverse channels, including social media platforms, professional forums, conferences, networking events, alumni groups, and more.
Collaborate with Marketing and Brand teams to position Nexus as an employer of choice, leveraging social media, events, and creative campaigns to promote our culture and opportunities.
Requirements
Passion for building and scaling teams with a culture rooted in integrity, honesty, and excellence.
5+ years of full-cycle executive recruiting experience, focusing on Engineering, Product, and Research leadership roles.
10+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, successfully scaling fast-growing technical teams for early-stage startups and brand-name companies.
Proven track record of hiring exceptional leaders in Engineering, Product, and Research roles, with a focus on quality and long-term impact.
Extensive professional network in fields such as internet-scale distributed systems and applications, ML/AI, cloud technologies, cryptography, and Web3.
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, skillfully managing ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining focus on results.
Experience fostering strong partnerships with external recruiting agencies to enhance internal hiring capabilities.
Ownership mentality, demonstrating a proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to independently drive initiatives and deliver outcomes.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to create trust and meaningful connections across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Bonus Points
Proven success in scaling companies through key growth stages, from Series A to Series B and Series C.
Experience recruiting for Web3 companies, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the space.
Background in CS, Engineering, Mathematics or other quantitative fields.
