Responsibilities
- Lead the platform architecture design and development efforts, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and technical vision.
- Implement an API-first development approach, designing and building robust, scalable, and well-documented APIs for the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to platform engineering, APIs, distributed systems, and database administration.
Requirements:
- An ability to write high quality, well-tested code.
- Backend experience working on social or financial data product working with real-time data.
- Development experience in Typescript or another Object-oriented language. Experience developing large-scale software.
- An understanding of, and practical experience with, web application development.
- A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design practices.
- A sincere commitment to creating readable code.
- Understanding of database schema design, caching and scalability.
- A degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience
