Remote Writer Jobs in Web3

We are looking for a technical writer who will help us in creating different types of documentation. As a successful hire, you will help us in authoring and maintaining documentation both for the development team (technical requirements, API etc.) and our end users - user guides, internal knowledge base support, creating articles together with our support team.

You will join a Bakong team. Bakong is the blockchain-based central bank payment system that uses digital currency (CDBC) initiated by the National Bank of Cambodia for a peer-to-peer fund transfer service available to retail customers of local banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers in Cambodia.

Responsibilities:

• Сollaborate with product owners, development team and technical support to understand user needs and documentation requirements;
• Work closely with development teams to get a clear understanding of how the product works
• Author and maintain internal knowledge base about the product to simplify the onboarding process and to provide better knowledge sharing inside the team
• Write clear and concise documentation for different audiences - both technical and end users:
  - describe IT infrastructure and requirements for our internal needs
  - user guides for our end users
  - describe internal business processes (if needed)
  - update and support knowledge base
  - provide articles about incidents for our support team
  - preparing how-to articles, release notes
• Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach non-writers on ways to improve their writing.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience working for IT companies
• Experience in writing software documentation (requirements, user guides etc), documentation for APIs, SDKs, or other end-user materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Fluent English, good command of Russian.
