p0x labs, a group developing technologies behind projects including Manta Network, delivers privacy for web3 applications and decentralized assets through use of zero-knowledge proofs. The project is built in accordance with first principles, by applying cutting-edge cryptographic constructions such as zkSNARKs to design and deploy protocols with high performance and strong privacy/security guarantees.

Location: Remote

We are seeking a motivated leader with a drive to operate in a high-growth environment and strong experience in technical accounting to join us to support our International expansion plans. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, experience with complex accounting interpretations, and an ability to communicate complex ideas with a wide array of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Achieves accounting operational objectives by supporting the global Financial Operations and Accounting teams with:

Financial Statement preparation (including bridging US GAAP to local GAAP).

Year-end audit support both at group and local level.

Corporate and indirect taxes provisioning and reporting.

Calculation of quarterly Transfer Pricing adjustments in line with relevant agreements.

Oversee the customer funds safeguarding and other regulatory processes.

Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing reports.

Establishes financial reporting best practice by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

Supports the development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures and operating internal controls over financial reporting.

Maintains financial security by monitoring internal controls.

Support group finance initiatives to achieve global Financial Operations goals.

Support other departments by researching and interpreting accounting and regulatory policies and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.

Ad hoc project support as required

Qualifications:

Understanding of web3 accounting principles is required

Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent) a plus.

3+ years post qualification experience (PQE).

Experience in accounting within a financial institution, particularly accounting for derivative products such as options and futures, a plus.

Big 4 audit firms experience a plus.

Experience with accounting within Transfer Pricing structures.

Experience with Monetary Authority of Singapore regulatory reporting a plus.

Experience with high-growth companies, ideally with online platform businesses a plus.

An undergraduate degree in accounting, economics, finance, or related field.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills: ability to query large data sets desirable.
