About the Role
We’re looking for an Algorithm Developer (Algo Dev) to help design, build, and optimize our next-generation trading systems by working side by side with senior developers and traders. This is a unique chance to take early ownership in a fast-growing division — perfect for someone who’s proactive, eager to learn, and ready to grow into a high-impact technical role.
In our way of working, developers have to be the users of the systems they build at least part of the time. This creates a tight feedback loop and helps gain a deep understanding of the challenges at hand - instead of receiving a narrow ticket that needs to be implemented. It’s our role to teach you about our systems and how the markets work by providing guidance, classes and gradually more exposure to the markets.
Our performant code is written in Rust and all supporting applications are written in Python.
What You’ll Do
As part of our team, you will:
- Work on exchange integrations in Rust with a focus on fast delivery, and share exchange-specific dynamics with the team to help traders optimize or create strategies based on your insights.
- Design and implement monitoring tools to track trading performance, system health, and uptime across global markets.
- Continuously improve our systems to stay ahead of rapidly evolving market conditions and to refine the trading activity.
- Develop and optimize low-latency and concurrent trading systems that operate at speeds beyond standard trading environments.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence, where precision, speed, and reliability define success. Helping us maintain a clear technological and executional edge.
Experience & Technical Background
- Degree in a quantitative field (computer science, engineering, mathematics or similar)
- Strong programming skills, knowledgeable about low-level programming concepts
- Experience (professional or through personal projects) building or contributing to complex or ****high-performance systems in a language like C++, Rust, Java or similar
- Python, SQL or Rust knowledge are a plus
- Interest in financial markets and/or crypto is a plus
