Triton One provides high-end infrastructure services for Solana and other blockchain ecosystems.
We work closely with some of the key developer teams in these spaces through our globally distributed RPC and validator deployments.
In the past year, we have (among many other things):
- Created and open-sourced key pieces of Solana infrastructure as part of our Yellowstone project:
- Dragon’s Mouth gRPC for streaming services provides a standardised way to access Solana’s geyser interface
- Old Faithful, the first full history archive of Solana, is available freely over Filecoin
- Built high-performance indexing on Solana in the form of Steamboat for program queries
- Worked together with other ecosystem actors to make the Digital Asset API a production-ready service
In the coming year, we look forward to building further developments of the Solana RPC stack and building better services for other chains such as SUI. We will also start building out services for Firedancer and our next generation of Pro Trading Centers.
We are Solana natives who provide bespoke infrastructure for DeFi & NFT applications. Join us and help build Web 3.0!
Responsibilities
- Build software infrastructure for delivering high-performance Solana and other blockchain-based RPC services
- Developing indexing services such as the Digital Asset Standards API in Solana or the GraphQL API for Sui
- Designing and implementing high throughput and low-latency network services for our Pro Trading Centers
- Support our infrastructure team in deployments, debugging, and performance optimization
- Support our customers’ developers in integrating and building upon our service
Requirements
- At least three years of backend software engineering and development experience, with a focus on low-level and/or backend network services
- Experience with building API interfaces based on JSON-RPC, REST and/or GraphQL
- Knowledge of production deployments of database and message queue systems such as PostgreSQL, Clickhouse and/or Kafka
- Extensive experience with Rust is a requirement.
- Experience in developing for the Solana ecosystem, including the way smart contracts operate on-chain
- Experience with Solana validator development is a plus
- Experience with Golang and Typescript is a plus
- Experience with high-performance Linux-based networking infrastructure is a plus.

What does a Rust developer in web3 do?
A Rust developer in the context of web3 is a programmer who uses the Rust programming language to build applications and tools for the decentralized web, also known as the web3 ecosystem
The specific responsibilities of a Rust developer in web3 may vary depending on the project or organization they are working for, but in general, they would be responsible for writing, testing, and maintaining Rust code that is used to build web3 applications
This could include things like creating smart contracts for decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, building tools for interacting with decentralized storage networks, or developing decentralized applications (dApps) for the web3 ecosystem.
