The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically savvy Infrastructure Partnerships Manager to join our team at Aztec.

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead collaborations with key infrastructure entities, including node operators, proving marketplaces, exchanges, and wallet software providers, among many many others. You will play a crucial part in advancing Aztec's decentralization objectives.

Your responsibilities will involve articulating the advantages of our technology stack by initiating and managing a diverse range of industry relationships. You will oversee the entire partnership journey, from first connection to finalizing contracts, and you will coordinate with internal product and engineering teams to provide exceptional support post-integration.

This role also offers the exciting opportunity to expand Aztec's reach by acting as an advocate at various industry events and through various media channels. You will work closely with our Product, Growth, and Engineering teams to achieve company objectives.

This position is integral to Aztec's mission, offering the chance to significantly contribute to the company's direction and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and nurture partnerships with relevant infrastructure partners
  • Effectively communicate the value of Aztec's technology stack to potential partners
  • Manage the initial stages of the partnership lifecycle, including relationship building, facilitating technical discussions (with the help of our Product/Engineering teams), and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align partnership goals with the 2024 Aztec Labs roadmap
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain and grow mutually-beneficial industry relationships
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships, adapting strategies as necessary to meet the evolving needs of the network
  • Explore and identify new partnership opportunities that align with Aztec's long-term decentralization goals
  • Contribute to Aztec's strategic direction by providing insights and feedback from the partnership perspective, influencing product development and prioritization
  • Represent Aztec at industry events

Qualifications:

  • This is a mid-to-senior level role (depending on the candidate). However, there is no degree requirement and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

  • The only important qualifications in this role are:
    • At least 3+ years of experience in a role where the candidate was able to identify and pursue high-value partnership opportunities
    • Adaptability and flexibility
    • Effective time management and prioritization
    • Capacity to lead strategic planning and execution
    • Understanding of the Aztec technology stack and the relevant areas for partnership opportunities

Nice-to-have:

  • Located in the United States or the United Kingdom
  • Familiarity with current Ethereum tooling
  • Passion for cryptography
  • Familiarity with other private blockchain technologies like ZCash
  • Experience working with developers and/or cryptographers
