Fogo is hiring a Partnerships Lead to land Tier-1 protocols and fresh DeFi primitives—making Fogo the default place to build and trade. Own integrations end-to-end, keep bridges/oracles rock-solid, turn incentives and capital into TVL, and amplify the Fogo stack with wallets, dApps, and partners. Ideal: deep DeFi chops, genuine builder/trader relationships, and a track record of partnerships that ship and stick.

About Our Team and Your Role

We’re a well-rounded team: half of us are tech whizzes, while the other half excel in building partnerships with data providers, developers, and the DeFi community. Communication is key to our network-driven approach.

Remote Work: Our team is spread across the globe, from the US and South America to Europe and Asia, with an optional office in Porto, Portugal, and Singapore. Remote work is the norm here.

Language Proficiency: English proficiency is essential, as it’s our primary language of communication.

Startup-level speed: We thrive in the dynamic DeFi space and love adaptable problem solvers who are eager to meet the evolving needs of the market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ecosystem Growth — Source, court, and onboard Tier-1 protocols and fresh DeFi primitives. Own integrations end-to-end.

  • Ops & Infrastructure — Keep bridges, oracles, and core rails healthy, observable, and incident-ready. Track TVL, volume, liquidity, and user activity.

  • Founder Support — Bootstrap liquidity, sharpen UX, and shepherd launches. Build tailored go-to-market plans.

  • Incentives — Design performance-driven programs, set clear KPIs, measure impact, and iterate.

  • Capital Relations — Cultivate LPs, funds, market makers, and trading firms. Channel capital into Fogo-native DeFi.

  • Positioning & Narrative — Partner with product/marketing to package the Fogo stack and champion the vision with wallets, dApps, and communities.

  • Market Intelligence — Track trends, capital flows, and emerging primitives to surface new opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years in DeFi/markets — protocol, L1/L2, or institutional trading experience.

  • Proven ecosystem growth/BD track record — partnerships that shipped, integrated, and drove adoption.

  • Strong network — founders, DeFi protocols, funds, LPs, and market makers.

  • Fluent in DeFi mechanics — TVL, volumes, liquidity/LP behavior, and incentive design.

  • Compelling storyteller — clear, credible communicator to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Entrepreneurial builder — self-starter, resourceful, thrives in fast, changing environments.
