Senior Software Engineer - Blockchain Integration
The mission
- Integrate Diverse Blockchains: Contribute to the seamless integration of various blockchain technologies into the Ledger ecosystem, ensuring they work flawlessly with our hardware and software solutions (EVM, BTC, Solana, Polkadot, Cosmos, etc.).
- Develop Integration Solutions: Design and implement strategies for blockchain integration that align with organizational goals and user needs.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product management, software development, and quality assurance teams to deliver robust blockchain solutions.
- Technical Problem Solving: Address complex blockchain integration challenges by applying innovative solutions and best practices.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and share expertise with team members to foster growth and continuous learning.
- Implement Best Practices: Apply agile best practices tailored to the blockchain integration process, promoting adaptability and responsiveness to change.
- Active Participation: Engage in regular agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance team effectiveness and morale.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of feedback and innovation, experimenting with new integration techniques to improve processes.
What we're looking for
- Extensive Coding Experience: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Blockchain Protocol Knowledge: Solid experience working with a variety of blockchain protocols and standards.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile project teams and methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset regarding blockchain integrations and product outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment.

- Blockchain Projects Experience: Proven experience with successful blockchain or cryptocurrency-related projects.
- Hardware Wallet Familiarity: Knowledge of hardware wallet technology or similar security-focused applications.
- Multi-Blockchain Understanding: In-depth knowledge of multiple blockchain architectures, including but not limited to EVM, Cosmos, and Polkadot.

What does an Solana developer do?
As a Solana developer, your responsibilities would include designing, implementing, and maintaining applications on the Solana blockchain platform using Rust programming language
This would involve using the Solana software development kit (SDK) to write smart contracts and build decentralized applications (dApps) that make use of the platform's features and capabilities
You would also be responsible for ensuring that your dApps are secure, efficient, and scalable, and for testing and debugging your code to ensure its correct behavior
Additionally, you may be involved in the ongoing development and improvement of the Solana platform itself, working with other members of the Solana community to drive innovation and advance the state of blockchain technology.
