Lead, Regulatory Compliance & Strategic Initiatives
Technical Skills:
- Brings knowledge of regulatory licensing, compliance, and risk best practices from traditional finance and demonstrates judgment in how to build and appropriately right-size programs to the size and complexity of Anchorage Digital and its businesses.
- Executes PMO best practices to project-manage highly complex strategic initiatives involving stakeholders across functions, geographies, and entities.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Understands business strategy, leads licensing applications, and oversees the buildout of second-line of defense functions and shared services.
- Accountable for enterprise-wide complaints, training, conduct, policies and procedures, and Bank-specific Reg W and Fiduciary Compliance programs.
- Anticipates factors that could influence global strategies and Anchorage Digital’s position in the market and is accountable for results and implementing target operating models and licensing solutions with a longer-term view that impacts multiple functions and entities across Anchorage Digital.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Has a deep knowledge of the strategy of Anchorage Digital. Actively engages across all functions on global business and licensing strategy and identifies new ways to deliver upon it.
- Ensures alignment and integration between initiatives, priorities, people, processes, and structures in your department, the other departments, and with the broader strategic priorities of Anchorage.
Communication and Influence:
- Collaborates effectively across teams and disciplines to solve problems and resolve technical debates.
- Articulates a clear strategy for regulatory compliance, produces high-quality output and execution, and communicates effectively across the company and with external stakeholders such as the OCC and non-US licensing authorities.
- Is engaging, easy to approach, builds appropriate rapport, with diplomacy and tact, and is recognized as a strategic leader whose knowledge, ideas and critical thinking impact the strategic direction of Anchorage Digital.

- Experience leading large, complex projects cutting across multiple functions.
- Experience overseeing regulatory compliance programs in financial services.
