About Glow
Glow takes the same incentives that allowed Bitcoin to build millions of mining machines and instead uses them to build millions of solar farms. Glow monetizes by selling the ability to control where and how these solar farms are built.
Backed by USV, Framework, and other top tier VCs, Glow was founded by David Vorick, the founder who took Sia to a $3 billion market cap. At more than $1 million in annualized earnings equivalent, Glow is already one of the highest earning protocols in the entire crypto ecosystem.
About the role
Glow is a protocol that facilitates the construction of solar farms. This means you will be coordinating physical projects on the ground with stakeholders that include the Glow Foundation, solar installers, government officials, and even public facing politicians to help ensure that Glow's key objectives and timelines are met.
You are the one who is responsible for keeping things on schedule, and that includes getting involved with external actors when necessary to ensure Glow's solar is prioritized and delivered
Key Responsibilities
- Solar Infrastructure & Pipeline Management
- Pipeline Orchestration: Oversee, organize, and manage the end-to-end solar farm pipeline across diverse geographic locations and multiple installers.
- Operational Velocity: Ensure a healthy, high-velocity pipeline is maintained at all times to meet ecosystem targets.
- Strategic De-risking: Anticipate potential regulatory or logistical roadblocks and proactively "unlock" the team to keep projects on track.
- Vendor Ecosystem: Manage the full lifecycle of solar farm installers - from vetting and onboarding to ongoing support and project delivery.
2. Operational Excellence & Scalability
- Process Architecture: Design, document, and implement scalable playbooks for installer onboarding, internal team operations, and project delivery.
- Automation & Efficiency: Identify and execute operational improvements, leveraging automation and dashboards to turn manual workflows into streamlined systems.
- Decision Cadence: Manage critical internal workflows, including meeting cadences, information intake, and decision-making frameworks.
3. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Strategic Translation: Act as a critical bridge for the CEO, turning high-level goals and visionary ideas into structured execution plans with clear deliverables.
- Momentum Driver: Drive follow-through on leadership decisions, ensuring next steps are completed and accountability is maintained across the board.
- Interdisciplinary Alignment: Act as the "connective tissue" between Engineering, Ops, Audit, and Marketing to ensure total alignment on conflicting priorities.
Who you are
- Background: You have 5–7+ years of experience in high-pressure roles, likely finance, consulting, or crypto ops. You’re looking for a "COO-track" position where you actually own the company's internal engine.
- High Agency & Ownership: You thrive in unstructured environments -if something is broken or missing, you fix it. You take extreme pride in delivering defect-free work.
- First-Principles Thinker: You don't rely on "how things are usually done." You can enter a new domain (like DePIN or solar regulations), strip it down to its fundamental truths, and make clear, analytical decisions amidst ambiguity.
- Calm Under Pressure: You have a track record of navigating high-pressure, complex situations with clarity. You’ve worked directly with senior executives and know how to facilitate consensus among leadership when priorities conflict.
If you are a high-agency builder who thrives at the frontier of tech and wants to take on significant operational responsibility to scale a category-defining ecosystem, we’d love to chat.
What we offer
- A high-impact compensation package including a competitive base salary plus equity and token incentives
- Health & Wellness: Platinum tier medical, vision, and dental coverage.
- A remote-first culture with a global team.
- Regular opportunities for international travel to team off-sites, industry conferences, and community events to build deep roots in the ecosystem.
