About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at multitasking. The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in not only managing day-to-day administrative functions but also in setting up and optimizing new office spaces.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Handle general office administration tasks, including managing the reception area, maintaining office supplies, equipment, and ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of office and facility policies and procedures.
  • Take a lead role in setting up new office spaces, coordinating logistics, and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with vendors to procure office equipment, supplies, pantry, daily catering etc.
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure seamless technology setup.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and providing support as needed.
  • Assist HR in onboarding new hires, ensuring a positive and efficient integration into the company.
  • Manage expense reports, and other financial administrative tasks.
  • Assist in budget planning for office-related expenses.
  • Coordinate company events, meetings, offsites, and team-building activities.
  • Plan and execute special projects as assigned.

What We Look For In You

  • The ability to be in the office 5 days a week.
  • Proven experience in office management roles, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in office software and productivity tools.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently. Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and environments. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE WITH A REQUIREMENT TO BE IN OUR NEW YORK OFFICE 5 DAYS/WEEK. WE ARE LOCATED IN HUDSON SQUARE.

  • The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000
  • The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
