The Block’s flagship podcast, The Scoop, is looking for a tenacious individual with a background in financial journalism to support editorial elements of the show. You will work directly with the show’s host Frank Chaparro as well as other leaders across The Block in a role that spans several teams. 

As an editorial fellow, you will join several recording sessions with top CEOs and decision makers in the crypto, technology and financial sectors and extract key insights for short news briefs, long-form analysis, and social media content. Through this role you will be able to build your own personal brand in the industry whilst reporting on a wide-range of topics. 

Given its cross-team and cross-disciplinary nature, this role requires someone who is comfortable spending the requisite time to get up to speed on complex topics ranging from zero-knowledge proofs to over-the-counter derivatives. A sense of what is newsworthy is a must, as is comfortability being pushed towards excellence.
