Why This Role Exists

We have ambitious growth targets over the coming quarters and years with a focus on the Web3 sectors of Financial Services, Project Creation, NFT creation and DAO technologies. We are looking for an individual that wants to take ownership over achieving these goals through selling our products and building customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close
  • Teach customers about web3 and smart contracts; and offer unique insights to encourage customers to think differently about their business and discover the true value of working with Upside.
  • Sell value and provide real ROI analysis with our products and services for our new customers. Work programmatically with customers on expected results to show them how to improve their business by properly using the Upside product and services.
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience within Web3, B2B SaaS, or Financial Services
  • Interest in Web3 and crypto including directly holding cryptocurrency, buying an NFT and/or participating in a DAO
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota while winning new customer business
  • Experience and comfort with live demonstrations of a product to potential customers
  • Demonstrates a strong customer orientation, dedication, and passion for delivering a great customer results
  • Experience working with legal and other internal teams to craft and deliver proposals and SOWs
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage audiences
  • Effectively work in a remote environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business level English spoken and written skills another language fluency is a plus
  • Collaborative and team oriented

What does an account manager do?

Account managers are responsible for managing relationships with specific clients or customer accounts

Their primary role is to ensure that their clients are satisfied with the products or services they are receiving, and to identify and resolve any issues or problems that may arise

In order to effectively manage their accounts, account managers typically perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and goals
  • Developing and implementing strategies to meet those needs
  • Handling any problems or issues that arise, and working to resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients
