As Cake’s Finance Engineering Analyst, you’ll join the Treasury and Ops Team and help Cake makes sound financial decisions. As a part of the starting team, there’ll be a huge potential for growth opportunities and career development. As your role develops at Cake, there’ll also be opportunities to expand your scope as the business expands.Specifically, you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of Cake financial numbers, by ensuring that such numbers are extracted from the database correctly. You will automate the blockchain to database reconciliation processes and report generation. You will be self-starter and a go-getter who embraces all opportunities to learn and add value. What you'll do-
- Automate the report generation process and ensuring the integrity of the financial numbers
- Support and manage the reconciliation between blockchain transactions and database
- Prepare internal and external reports on regular basis
- Support on audit & compliance work
- Work with other teams to improve overall processes
What you need-
- Sharp problem-solving skill set; able to put structure to ambiguous problems and drive insights
- Able to read and code javascript
- Advanced analytical and technical (Financial Modelling/SQL/Data Viz/Sequelize/Postgresql) skills working with large volumes of complex data
- Passion for crypto industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a demonstrable bias towards action and execution
- Enjoys high-growth environments, and approaches challenges with a growth mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Accounting knowledge would be nice to have but not necessary
