Join us in our mission to make the digital economy accessible, safe, and easy to use for everyone. This is a full time U.S. based remote role. Currently Phantom cannot support employees from the following countries and continents: Russia, Pakistan, Ukraine, Asia, Oceania, and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Develop policies, procedures, controls and reporting to comply with regulatory requirements; provide training programs to foster Phantom’s compliance culture

• Manage relationships with third-party compliance vendors

• Provide compliance advice in connection with new product development

• Oversee Sanctions and UK Financial Promotions compliance programs

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, finance law or a related field

• 7+ years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role within financial services, fintech or crypto industries

• Demonstrated ability to build compliance programs

• Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, BSA, Global Sanctions, etc.

• Strong analytical skills to assess requirements and develop effective compliance strategies

• Proven ability to lead compliance initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

The target base salary for this role will range between $225,500 to $280,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors at the point in time of offer.
