In the embedded software organization, reporting directly to the CTO, the Firmware Application team develops and manages embedded applications for Ledger's hardware wallets. These apps run on our custom OS, created by another team in the same organization.
Our team also empowers external developers to build their own apps by providing tools, SDKs, and a seamless integration process to make these apps accessible to all Ledger users via Ledger Live.
What You'll Be Part of:
- A dynamic team of 8 engineers working on C/Rust embedded apps like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Starknet, and more.
- Building and maintaining SDKs, emulators, test frameworks, and developer tools to ensure a top-tier development experience.
- Managing and deploying 150+ open-source apps through robust CI pipelines.
- Supporting the global community of developers contributing to Ledger's open-source ecosystem.

Duration: 6 months internship
Your mission
- Assess & Migrate Pipelines: Review Jenkins configurations and migrate dependencies, scripts, and plugins to GitHub Actions.
- Adjust Environment & Integrations: Ensure SDKs, libraries, and integrations work smoothly on GitHub Actions, and secure sensitive data with GitHub Secrets.
- Test & Refactor: Refactor workflows to build applications on specific SDK versions and set up reporting to internal channels.
What we're looking for
- Knowledge of Debian-based environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and Git
- Proficiency in Bash and Python (scripting and object-oriented programming)
- Knowledge of C and build systems (e.g., Makefile) is a plus
- Very good command of English & French
