DESCRIPTION: – The Business Development Manager – Bilingual English/Chinese is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the VP, Business Development, the Business Development Manager will be a key member of the Business Development team and will be supporting the Bitcoin Mining team throughout the entire client engagement.
This is a rare invitation to join a small, highly professional entrepreneurial group, with the backing of the most established player in the fast-growing crypto space.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Identify partnership and collaborative opportunities
- Actively sell hardware offerings from Foundry
- Manage secondary market supplier relationships in China
- Help build new sales strategies for FoundryX
- Syndicate global ASIC market prices to analytics and sales purposes
- Source prospective suppliers internationally on the supply side to ensure competitive equipment costs
- Manage client relationships on behalf of Foundry
Minimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Bilingual in Chinese and English
- Located in Rochester or willing to relocate
- Background in Financial Services and Underwriting
- Strong negotiator
- Experience with international business
- Willingness to take calls at off hours
- Self-starter
- Motivated to deliver and close deals
- Ability to travel internationally
