We are the security engineering team, skilled in cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, and regulatory compliance. Our global distribution allows us to leverage unique experiences and skillsets to build and operate security services that safeguard our platform. We prioritize a proactive approach to prevent security issues and stay ahead of potential threats, ensuring the continuous protection of our services.

The Security Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing robust security frameworks to protect our software and infrastructure. This role involves conducting regular security assessments, including Cloud, Kubernetes, and our Products, to identify and address vulnerabilities. Additionally, the engineer will assist in vulnerability management programs ensuring that all AWS cloud infrastructure meets the highest security standards.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Respond to security tickets promptly and professionally, including incident handling, triage, investigation, and collaboration with other teams for resolution.

  • Serve as the point-of-contact for internal user security questions, providing guidance on security policies, tools, and best practices.

  • Design, implement, and improve operational security processes—focusing on ticket management, incident response workflows, and documentation standards.

  • Monitor security dashboards for alerts; analyze, document, and escalate events as needed for further investigation and remediation.

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls, including vulnerability management, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, and encryption technologies.

  • Assist in onboarding and off-boarding processes to ensure proper access controls and compliance.

  • Contribute to developing, reviewing, and communicating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for security operations.

  • Influence internal teams and coach others on security policies and internal compliance frameworks.

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience in security operations, InfoSec or product security engineering

  • Familiarity with securing AWS cloud services

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform

  • Familiarity with deploying and operating Kubernetes such as AWS EKS.

  • Strong understanding of incident management, ticket response, and security operations best practices.

  • Experience using ticketing systems and operational tools such as JIRA or Atlassian suite.

  • Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and compliance with security policies and regulations.

  • Ability to foster collaboration and partnerships across teams outside of Security Engineering

Nice to have experience:

  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g. government compliance).

  • Proven success developing operational efficiencies or process improvements within security operations.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC II, or NIST.

  • Experience contributing to a Vulnerability Management Program
