Apply for this job
We’re looking for a proactive, technically exceptional Solution Engineer to join Zerion’s API team and help us scale the future of onchain infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success—supporting developers, improving onboarding, and enhancing the experience of teams building on top of our API. You’ll play a critical role in helping us reduce engineering load by handling Tier 1–2 API support, translating feedback into actionable insights, and making sure devs using our API feel unblocked, empowered, and excited to build.

What you will do

    • Act as the first technical point of contact for teams integrating Zerion API
    • Diagnose edge cases, debug & fix issues, and unblock partners acting as the owner for tier 1–2 engineering challenges
    • Write well-structured, and efficient code contributing to the development of new services and features
    • Collaborate closely with engineers to triage and resolve problems efficiently
    • Maintain and improve technical documentation, SDKs, and dev onboarding flows
    • Shaping the product by implementing customer-driven features in close collaboration with the product manager
    • Monitor developer success metrics and reduce time-to-value

Who we are looking for

    • Solid engineering fundamentals with at least 3+ years development experience
    • Solid understanding of Web3 concepts (wallets, NFTs, DeFi)
    • Hands-on experience with Web3 projects — either personal (pet projects) or commercial use
    • Strong experience with Golang (required)
    • Strong understanding of API architecture, REST conventions, tokens/auth flows, and error handling
    • Experience debugging and resolving complex issues in production systems
    • Experience with developer platforms or supporting external development teams

Bonus Points

    • Python experience
    • Comfortable speaking the language of on-chain builders
    •  Built or supported systems across multiple chains (EVM, L2s, Solana, etc.)
    • Experience with blockchain data analytics tools (Dune, Nansen)

About You

    • You’re an engineer who brings energy and genuine passion to your work
    • You thrive on helping others succeed
    • You’re a quick learner who adapts easily to change
    • You’re proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
    • You execute tasks efficiently across support, documentation, and project work
    • Excited to work at a fast pace in a remote-first, async team

Interview Process

    • Initial Call (30 mins)
    • Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins): Discussion of your professional background, motivation and Web3-specific questions: understanding DeFi, NFTs, wallets, smart contracts.
    • Technical Session (60 mins): Evaluation of programming skills and Problem-solving questions or discussions of past technical projects.
    • Team Interview (60 mins)
    • Founders Call (60 mins)
    • Reference Check
