Do you want to help bring Ethereum to the world?

At Caldera, we’re not just building blockchains - we’re seeding the foundation of the next generation of the web with Ethereum. Our mission is to build, launch, and scale a million interconnected rollups. Through our work, we empower every Web3 app to break free from the limits of shared blockchains, launching their own custom rollups that scale seamlessly and deliver unparalleled user experiences.

This is a bold, ambitious vision that demands the best from us every single day. It means rethinking how applications operate at scale, reimagining how value flows across the internet, and challenging the status quo of centralized gatekeepers.

To achieve this, we need exceptional people. We want teammates who are deeply curious, relentlessly driven, and unafraid of tackling the hardest challenges in our space. We seek those who believe in the transformative potential of Ethereum and blockchain technology, and who want to leave their mark on the world.

Our work isn’t for everyone. It’s intense, fast-paced, and full of moments that will push you beyond what you thought possible. But for those who thrive on solving complex problems, collaborating with world-class colleagues, and shaping the future of Web3, there’s no better place to be.

The Role

The Caldera community is a kaleidoscopic confluence of diverse individuals, each with a unique path, passion, and story. This vibrant gang resides at the intersection of Ethereum accelerationism and personal growth. We see our role as the stewards of this community as that of a connector, with the mandate to connect like-minded individuals and gently nudge them towards finding their tribe within Caldera. Whether you’re an artist, a writer, a trader, a hunter, a developer, a musician, or a video producer - there’s a place for you at Caldera. We're seeking a 'superconnector' Community Lead to nurture this vibrant ecosystem, bridge our core team with community members, and foster meaningful engagement. You'll develop our community playbook, recognize contributors, and scale our impact through ambassador programs and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of Caldera in front of our community on Discord, X, and Telegram. Communicate our values, vision and progress.

  • Scale our community management efforts by refining our ambassador programs, expanding our resident artist and writers programs, and developing a fair, transparent system for community members to grow within Caldera.

  • You’ll creatively devise avenues for community members to find their tribe and contribute to Caldera’s mission, as well as ways to recognize community members who are contributing positively.

  • You’ll organize and coordinate online community events such as community calls, Twitter spaces, AMAs, and contests.

  • You’ll identify, track, and impress community KPIs.

  • You’ll work alongside other Marketing team members to build a cohesive brand and voice for Caldera.

  • You’ll stay up-to-date on topics and trends in the crypto space.

  • You’ll advocate on behalf of the community, communicating feedback and needs back to the core.

What we look for

  • You must be crypto-native: deeply immersed in crypto culture and battling it out in the trenches daily.

  • You’ve previously built and/or managed a large crypto/web3 community.

  • You deeply understand Discord, X, and Telegram.

  • You have experience managing a decentralized team of moderators, ambassadors, etc.

  • Self-starter with the ability to recognize and solve problems proactively.

  • Relationship builder with the ability to easily and quickly establish credibility and rapport with others.

  • You’re creative, ambitious, and usually the funniest character in the room.

  • You thrive when given high autonomy, responsibility, and ownership.

  • You have strong speaking and writing English communication skills.

Nice to Haves

  • Basic graphic design skills.

  • Public speaking skills.

  • Existing relationships in crypto.

What We Offer

  • A chance to shape the narrative with and of a fast-growing company in Web3.

  • A collaborative, forward-thinking work environment.

  • Competitive salary and benefits (including medical, dental and vision).

  • Co-working membership/Work-from-home equipment, including the latest Macbook.

  • Quarterly offsites and travel with the team to conferences.
