Head of Community Engagement
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit KOLs and Institutional KOLs within your region. Evaluate potential KOLs based on their reach, influence, engagement, and alignment with Arbitumâs brand values and goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy across various platforms (Twitter, Discord, etc.)
- Establish a strong personal brand as a thought leader in the Web3 space.
- Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive online environment for the global Arbitrum community.
- Foster meaningful conversations, address community inquiries, and provide exceptional community support.
- Organize engaging online and offline events (AMAs, hackathons, meetups) to drive community growth and excitement.
- Identify and nurture community leaders and influencers.
- Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Devrel) to ensure seamless communication and community alignment.
- Analyze community sentiment and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in community management and online engagement strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years in community engagement, preferably last 3 years in Web3
- Proven experience leading and managing online communities.
- Deep understanding of Web3 and the developer/user landscape, and the Arbitrum ecosystem.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the community.
- Experience engaging in the Arbitrum (or Ethereum) community.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport.
- Experience in fostering a positive and productive online environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with community management tools and platforms (Discord, social media listening tools, etc.)
- A data-driven approach with the ability to analyze and interpret community metrics.
