Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is a wholly-owned Chainalysis subsidiary that provides blockchain intelligence solutions, including technology, training, and services, to law enforcement and intelligence customers in the U.S. Government.  

The Senior Account Executive, Intelligence Community role at CGS is aligned to supporting our key customers in this space, requiring a consultative and high-touch approach coupled with a strong business acumen. We’re looking for an individual who is experienced in business development, cultivating new opportunities, program management, and is at ease negotiating complex deals involving multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, comfortable leading a cross-functional team to build upon the strong relationships we already have, and has a deep understanding of the IC. 

In this role, you’ll: 

  • Continue to increase our foothold in the Intelligence Community through strategic business development and identification of new opportunities for Chainalysis, and bring a relentless dedication to moving prospects forward

  • Meet regularly with customer stakeholders and mission owners to understand their requirements, and translate those requirements into solutions

  • Accelerate solution adoption and partner closely with our customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging specific to customer needs

  • Build strategic relationships with new and existing stakeholders at the customer, creating a diverse pipeline of opportunities 

  • Work with key stakeholders, mission owners, and partners to influence and drive solution adoption

  • Build relationships across departments at CGS and Chainalysis, allowing you to provide expert advice to prospects related to technical concepts, product roadmaps, solutions implementations, training, and craft appropriate customer proposals 

We’re looking for candidates who:  

  • Have a track record of quota attainment in B2G SaaS and services sales within the US Federal Government

  • Have 5+ years of experience across the Intelligence Community

  • Are highly collaborative, communicative, and have an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Can convey complex concepts in an approachable and concise way

  • Have an active and verified TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

  • Are willing and able to spend 2-4 days per week on-site with customers

Some specific responsibilities of a community manager in web3 may include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for engaging with and growing the community in social madia (most likely on Discord and Twitter)
  • Moderating online forums and social media groups, and responding to community members questions and concerns
  • Organizing and hosting events and meetups to bring community members together and foster collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Working closely with the development team to ensure that the community's needs and feedback are being taken into account in the design and development of the technology
  • Providing regular updates and information to the community about the progress and status of the technology
  • Dentifying and addressing any issues or conflicts within the community, and working to resolve them in a positive and constructive manner.
