We are seeking out a candidate with stellar interpersonal and management skills to lead and scale community management efforts of the entire Ava Labs network while creating best practices for community managers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Architect, implement and oversee objectives for a global community network
  • Design roadmap and supporting KPIs
  • Mentor a team of globally dispersed community managers
  • Rapidly scale the communities via high-quality engagement programs
  • Develop and execute strategies on Telegram, Discord, and other region-specific community platforms (e.g., WeChat, Kakao, etc.)
  • Drive community engagement through community/ambassador networks and growth marketing campaigns
  • Create engaging event series: hackathons, hack houses, university collabs, meetups and more!
  • Analyze, share and spark data-driven discussions within communities
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Developer Relations teams to design new community support functions
  • Provide input to the design team for graphics that complement social copy and community growth maps

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years professional experience in Marketing and/or Product
  • 1+ year managing community growth strategy in Web3
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams
  • Have launched at least 2 successful community initiatives. i.e. online forums, ambassador programs, event series… etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Telegram, Discord, Twitter and sub-board communities
  • Social media management tools. i.e Buffer, Hubspot, Intercom, etc.
  • Community growth KPI analytics experience
  • Strong knowledge and passion for blockchain technology/products

  • Providing regular updates and information to the community about the progress and status of the technology
  • Dentifying and addressing any issues or conflicts within the community, and working to resolve them in a positive and constructive manner.
