The role

As part of expanding our business, we are looking for a Lead Content Editor to join our team and take responsibility for one of our leading cryptocurrency websites. This role will involve ensuring that content is always of the highest quality, managing a team of in-house writers, and determining the strategy for each brand with the help of a dedicated SEO manager.

Key accountabilities

• Develop, own and manage the content strategy across a group of international, multilingual websites (translations are handled separately by another team)
• Work closely with the relevant SEO Manager and other departments to ensure content Production aids our organic marketing efforts
• Writing, editing, proofreading and overseeing content production for a group of websites
• Ensure the smooth running of a multi-skilled content team of crypto writers, leading by example in creativity, marketing skill, and overall editorial excellence
• Organise and execute a variety of content tactics and types, from how-to guides to long-form educational course content
• Staying on top of the cryptocurrency markets, understand how blockchain technology works, and looking out for new developments in the space
• Providing small amounts of ad-hoc copywriting support to the wider business

• Be a proven writer and editor with the ability to write, edit and proofread web content
• Have a passion for cryptocurrency and a solid knowledge of the online crypto industry
• Be a native English speaker
• Have exceptional literacy skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Have very high standards for all content that you write or edit

• Salary: £36,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience
• 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank & public holidays) plus an additional day for every year at the company
