Your Mission Uniswap Foundation seeks an innovative and influential Community Manager to spearhead the management of our developer ecosystem, focusing primarily on nurturing and expanding our builder community. This pivotal role involves leading a team of ambassadors who actively manage the Uniswap Discord, support our developer relations (DevRel) and product teams, and spearhead outbound marketing initiatives to attract new developers to the Uniswap platform. What You'll Do

Community Leadership: Work closely with a dedicated team of ambassadors to facilitate and oversee the Uniswap Discord, ensuring it remains a premier support hub for developers. Ecosystem Growth: Collaborate closely with the DevRel and product teams to enhance the builder community, particularly around the nuances of v4 and hooks. Global Outreach: Travel to global hackathons, representing Uniswap Foundation and engaging directly with the developer community to encourage and support their participation in our ecosystem. Marketing and Promotion: Work with the Head of Marketing to devise and implement targeted marketing strategies that showcase the benefits of developing on the Uniswap platform, thereby attracting new talent. Hackathon Leadership: Organize and lead hackathons aimed at stimulating innovation within the ecosystem, rewarding top talent with visibility and support. Advocacy and Feedback: Serve as a primary advocate for developers within Uniswap, ensuring that their feedback is integral to shaping grant decisions and organizational strategies. Performance Metrics: Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the developer workstream to provide regular updates on ecosystem growth and developer engagement activities.

What You Bring to the Table

Leadership and Influence: Proven ability to lead community initiatives and influence developer ecosystems effectively. Technical Proficiency: Advanced understanding of blockchain technologies, especially Ethereum-based protocols like Uniswap v4 and hooks. You’re not expected to be coding every day but defi and crypto nativeness is critical. Strategic Outreach: Experience in creating and executing outreach programs to build and maintain developer relations. Event Management: Demonstrated skill in organizing and leading hackathons and technical workshops. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities to clearly convey complex technical concepts and value propositions to a diverse audience. Community-Centric: Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining robust developer communities. Content and Advocacy Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing your past work in writing or media, specifically related to advocating for developer needs and educating the tech community. Established Builder Network: A strong network of builders, developers, and ecosystem leaders within the blockchain and DeFi communities, enabling effective collaboration and ecosystem growth.
