About Coins.ph
Coins.ph is a leading licensed fiat and crypto wallet services provider in Southeast Asia. We are expanding globally and seeking the right strategy and product talent to help us obtain financial and payment licenses in key markets in the EU.

About the Role
We are looking for a Strategy Manager to guide our research and strategic planning for European market entry.

You will be the go-to expert in EU crypto related compliance and regulatory matters, and will co-ordinate our licensing applications, regulatory affairs, banking partnerships, and go-to-market strategies across key EU markets.

This is a hands-on, analytical, and advisory role at the intersection of regulation, strategy, and fintech product development, designed for someone who thrives on complexity and can turn fragmented regulatory data into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct end-to-end regulatory and market assessments across EU jurisdictions, covering political, financial, and fintech ecosystem stability.
    • Evaluate and analyse EMI / CASP licensing regimes, banking partnerships, and operational setup requirements, summarizing ease of market entry.
    • Interpret regulatory developments (MiCA, AML, SEPA, TARGET2) and advise management on implications for licensing and expansion.
    • Consolidate findings into benchmark reports and scoring frameworks for strategy and licensing teams.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external experts to support license application preparation.

Requirements

    • 5 to 7+ years of experience in strategy / product design / project management within fintech, payments, or crypto sectors.
    • Strong knowledge of EMI / VASP / CASP frameworks under EBA, MiCA, or equivalent European directives.
    • Proven ability to interpret and compare cross-border regulatory requirements and operational standards.

Nice to have

    • Experience in fintech licensing research or cross-border payments go-to-market strategies.
    • Knowledge of EU payments infrastructure (SEPA, PSD2, TARGET2). Previous work experience with compliance consultants or law firms in financial licensing.
