- Collaborate with the General Counsel to define, refine, and implement the company’s overall legal strategy
- Provide senior-level oversight and guidance across legal domains, including product development, regulatory compliance, commercial contracting, corporate governance, employment, tax, and disputes
- Partner with product and engineering teams to support the launch of new tokenized assets and RWA protocols and infrastructure in compliance with applicable laws and evolving regulatory guidance
- Serve as lead counsel on cross-functional initiatives that require complex, multi-domain legal analysis
- Lead regulatory risk assessments and develop practical strategies to mitigate legal exposure in dynamic global environments
- Manage and advise on complex commercial transactions, including key vendor, customer, and partner agreements
- Support corporate legal activities including M&A, financings, fund formation, entity management, and executive compensation
- Coordinate internal legal workflows and external counsel relationships to ensure high-quality, efficient legal service delivery
- Mentor and support Assistant General Counsels and other members of the legal team
- Contribute to the design and delivery of legal operations, compliance training, and internal policies
- JD from an accredited U.S. law school
- 10–15+ years of legal experience, ideally including time at an elite law firm and in-house at a high-growth fintech or blockchain company
- Demonstrated leadership in developing and executing legal strategies in complex, regulated environments
- Significant experience with blockchain, financial services, asset management, and/or tokenization strongly preferred
- Significant experience advising SEC-regulated companies such as registered investment advisers
- Expertise across multiple legal domains, with a particular emphasis on financial regulation (33 Act, 34 Act, 40 Act and Investment Advisers Act), anti-money laundering laws, product counseling and strategic transactions
- Superior judgment, business acumen, and ability to balance legal risk with operational and strategic objectives
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and grow legal teams
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple fast-moving workstreams
