EigenLabs is a dynamic and innovative team that provides crypto-economic security services for proof-of-stake (PoS) blockchain modules, such as rollups, bridges, oracles, and dApps. EigenLabs is building the EigenLayer protocol to enable permissionless innovation on Ethereum. With EigenLayer, blockchain services can rely on Ethereum for security, making it possible for anyone to build innovative blockchain modules without large upfront capital costs. EigenLabs is also building a data availability service on top of EigenLayer known as EigenDA, which will serve the critical need to provide critical liveness and security guarantees to scaling solutions such as rollups. This is a full-time position that is fully remote or located with the largely Seattle-based team. Why We Need You You will own the financial integrity of our organization, leading the accounting team to establish robust financial processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and provide valuable insights that support strategic decision-making as we continue to scale. What You Will Do

Lead, develop, and support the accounting team while driving automation and efficient operations. Build cross-functional relationships to drive process improvements, ensure smooth operations, and resolve issues. Support corporate planning processes with financial insights and forecasts. Provide guidance in all aspects of accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies and support overall business objectives. Support internal and external audits and navigate evolving regulatory landscape.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA strongly preferred. 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in a full-cycle accounting function, ideally in a high-growth crypto or startup environment. Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with international accounting standards. Deep understanding of cryptocurrency tax, regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal controls. Experience supporting audits and tax compliance from either side of the table, ideally both. Resourceful self-management skills with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $180,000 - $225,000 USD is the annual base salary.
