evolving cryptocurrency landscape.People Operations Associate About the Role We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations Associate to join our growing People team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional employee experience across the full lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding, while ensuring our people processes are accurate, efficient, and scalable. You will partner cross-functionally with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation to execute and improve core people operations. The ideal candidate has a strong operational mindset, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and consistently thinks ahead about downstream impacts and process efficiency. What You’ll Do People Operations (Approx. 75%)
Deliver a seamless onboarding experience: Coordinate onboarding logistics, manage employment documentation, and ensure each new hire transitions smoothly into the organization. Maintain operational excellence: Oversee critical HR processes (including compliance training, employment verification, and background checks) with extreme accuracy and attention to detail. You are a systems thinker and able to connect the dots on how things work across systems, processes, and functions. Drive process improvement: You have project management experience, and are able to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate routine tasks, and enhance scalability and efficiency across systems and processes. Support the employee lifecycle: Partner with HR leaders and business stakeholders on key employee moments including onboarding, internal changes, and offboarding. Enhance employee experience: Conduct and analyze exit interviews to identify themes and drive initiatives that strengthen engagement and retention. Ensure data integrity and compliance: Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems while ensuring adherence to internal controls and employment regulations. Produce regular reporting and insights.
Support mobility efforts: Assist in administering our immigration program, particularly with the monthly green card audit.
Collaborate globally: Work closely with international HR and Talent teams to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient practices across all regions.
Recruiting Operations (Approx. 25%)
Strengthen recruiting infrastructure: Support recruiting operations by maintaining accurate candidate data, documentation, and reporting to ensure a high-quality hiring process. Ensure data integrity: Conduct regular audits of recruiting systems to maintain accurate and complete records of hiring activities and offer details. Monitor and improve SLAs: Track recruiting service-level agreements and partner with the team to ensure responsiveness and consistency across hiring workflows. Enable continuous improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to assess pain points, propose enhancements, and implement scalable solutions that increase recruiting efficiency and candidate satisfaction.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or SHRM/PHR certification a plus). 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, people operations, or a related role with exposure to recruiting or HR systems. Proven operational mindset, including ability to see around corners, anticipate downstream impacts, and design scalable processes. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments that require adaptability and prioritization. Strong proficiency with HR systems, recruiting systems, and people management systems (e.g., Rippling, Greenhouse, Lattice, or similar). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across multiple teams and regions. A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in enhancing the employee experience. Curiosity about fintech or emerging technology industries is a plus.

Compensation The base pay for this role is expected to be between $106,000 to $144,000 in the New York City Area. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
