Role Overview
We are looking for a Head of Strategy & Marketing who is equal parts:
- Market structure thinker
- Narrative architect
- Data-driven strategist
- Ecosystem operator
This is not a “brand marketer” role. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for:
- Designing and executing go-to-market strategy for a number of business lines and products
- Owning product positioning within the Solana ecosystem
- Translating complex on-chain mechanics into compelling narratives
- Driving validator, protocol, and ecosystem adoption
- Shaping token positioning and long-term strategic direction
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and own the company’s GTM strategy across a number of different products
- Identify growth vectors within Solana (e.g., restaking, MEV, LSTs, on-chain liquidity programs, token launches)
- Anticipate ecosystem shifts
- Develop competitive landscape analysis across Solana and cross-chain infrastructure
2. Product Positioning & Narrative
- Articulate the product’s unique value within Solana’s architecture
- Build thought leadership around market structure, decentralization, transparency, and capital efficiency
- Craft messaging that resonates with:
- Core crypto-native builders Validators
- Institutional liquidity providers
- Token issuers
- Shape token positioning and incentive alignment messaging (in close coordination with legal)
3. Ecosystem Growth
- Build validator and protocol relationships
- Develop measurable ecosystem growth pipelines
- Drive adoption metrics (TVL, validator participation, revenue, protocol integrations)
- Work closely with BD to convert ecosystem interest into long-term alignment
4. Marketing Execution
- Oversee content strategy (X, research threads, whitepapers, dashboards, analytics releases)
- Launch product announcements and ecosystem campaigns
- Coordinate events, conference strategy, and ecosystem presence
- Build high-signal thought leadership (not noise)
5. Data & Performance Visibility
- Define and track performance KPIs
- Work with engineering to surface verifiable dashboards
- Translate on-chain metrics into market narratives
- Monitor validator conversion and retention metrics
6. Legal & Risk Coordination
- Partner closely with General Counsel on:
- Token communications
- Regulatory-sensitive positioning
- Public statements
- Ensure messaging aligns with compliance frameworks and avoids unnecessary regulatory risk
Strong Plus

- MEV infrastructure
- LST/LRT ecosystems
- On-chain liquidity programs
