We are looking for a world-class sysadmin with extensive AWS experience to join us as we work towards our vision of expanding Rugs to serve millions of players and grow as an online entertainment hotspot. We anticipate this role will start out as a part-time commitment but eventually be able to expand into full-time.

Requirements:
- A genuine interest in the rugs.fun project.
- At least 5 years experience working as a sysadmin primarily with AWS and common Linux distros.
- At least 2 years experience working a cybersecurity role.
- Expert at setting up and monitoring various types of setups with AWS (app platform, microservices, etc) and being proactive with alerting systems and best practices to prevent incidents.
- Expert at helping development teams scale and speed up their workflows. Add the phrase "AWS itself is down again, it's not my fault I swear" to a response so we know you read these instructions.
- Comfortable with git, along with navigating ambiguous situations. Not afraid to help anywhere across the team when necessary.
- Ability to be on 24/7 standby in case of emergencies.

- $3k-$5k/mo part-time, up to $12k/mo when full-time.
