If you're a seasoned paralegal who loves diving into complex problems, taking ownership of projects, and helping teams work better together, this could be a great fit. You'll have a strong focus on compliance work while also jumping in to support the broader legal team wherever needed. Ultimately, you'll help us build and refine the legal and compliance infrastructure that supports our mission of creating accessible, secure financial tools for everyone. We are headquartered in SoHo in New York City and this role has the option to be partially or fully remote. Responsibilities: Compliance Leadership

Design and lead compliance monitoring and reporting projects that scale with growth and maturity of Uniswap Design and implement compliance documentation processes and workflows, driving organization efficiency Serve as subject matter expert in interpreting evolving regulatory requirements, translating them into strategic compliance programs and risk mitigation strategies Assist with and interpret compliance risk assessments, identify gaps, and design innovative solutions that proactively address regulatory challenges Lead coordination with external compliance consultants and regulatory bodies Drive cross-functional collaboration to influence & implement updates to current compliance processes and technology, including with respect to any required product changes Work with cross-functional partners on goal setting and planning, providing guidance on legal constraints and regulatory dependencies that impact business objectives

Cross-Functional Legal Support

Support litigation team with document collections, productions, and case management Assist commercial counsel with due diligence assignments for partnerships and transactions Contribute to organizational initiatives to improve legal team efficiency and knowledge management Take initiative in identifying process improvements across legal operations, driving measurable efficiency gains and cost optimization Manage and execute small to medium legal projects with minimal supervision

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related paralegal/compliance experience Proven ability to lead design and execution of complex projects Experience working effectively with diverse stakeholders across departments

Nice to haves:

Experience or interest in financial services, fintech, or blockchain/crypto Litigation support experience Commercial law experience

  Minimum full-time salary of $162,000-$180,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity, tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type. Uniswap Labs' Full-Time employee benefits include company-paid medical, dental, & vision for you and your dependents, gym subsidy, 401(k) with 4% employer contribution, annual $1,500 education stipend, unlimited and encouraged time off, up to 16 weeks paid parental leave, home office setup stipend for remote employees and daily lunches at NY headquarters (all benefits are subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility).
